Our 8 year old (and his Dad) loved the Road Runner Roller Coaster, but it was too scary for the 5 year old. There was virtually no queue to get in and we were able to pack healthy food from home in our bags rather than buying expensive junk food inside. We visited Movie World on a weekday out of school holidays so it wasn't too busy. We've previously been to Dreamworld and Sea World. We took our boys aged 8 and 5 here for the day, our first visit. I must say, it was a complete disappointment for me, my hubby, my helper and especially my kids. It goes to say there's not enough to keep you occupied in Movie World. Some just picnic and chatting away rather. It was really boring and we spotted a few people sleeping on the grass. The food variety was limited as compared to Seaworld. And we couldn't find the counter to purchase our lethal weapon photos. (Thank you Catwoman!) Many of the rides are close for maintenance and the side streets are really empty. We run to the back street and saw Catwoman, who happily post a pic for my kids. They just ignored us even when my boy (6) told them "Just one more, please!" We dashed over to Wonder woman and the Heros and they already counting to 5. I got a shot of Bugs Bunny and went queuing for Scoopy Doos and in less than 3 mins, again, they started to count down to 5. Hoping to get some pictures, we went back the second day, our opportunity came when they cancelled the Parade "Due to unforseen circumstances" and had the Characters out for photos session in replace. We missed that! We also followed a queue of more than 30 people for a picture with Batman and after 10 mins. 3 of Tweety bird photo sessions ends at 12 noon. We bearly see any characters like Tweety Bird, Porky Pig, Tasmanian Devil, Cat Woman strolling by. Far or close we came to the number, my kids were really disappointed, and I can understand the dozens in the queue. After queuing merely for 5 mins and was told by Green that they will take another 5 and started counting down. We rushed to queue 3 times to take pictures with Wonder Woman, Flash and Green. With 2 young kids eagerly looking out for Warner Bros Cartoon characters, it was a total disappointment.
